Sunday gatherings

Come as you are. Belong before you believe.

Catalyst: the process of change

Catalyst expresses the heart of our Sunday life: change that begins with Jesus and reaches into everyday living. We gather to worship, hear the Word of God and grow together, trusting the Holy Spirit to bring conviction, healing and renewed purpose.

We are a church family in Nottingham with a particular heart for men, while welcoming women, children and families too. Whatever your background, you can come with your questions and take time to get to know us. Fellowship means making room for one another, sharing a brew and walking together beyond a single Sunday.

Rooted in the Word

Strong Bible teaching is central to Catalyst. We want to understand Scripture clearly, recognise what it reveals about Jesus and put it into practice. Isaiah 61 shapes our hope for restoration: good news, freedom and lives rebuilt with purpose.

Teaching is more than collecting information. It invites us to examine our decisions, our relationships and the patterns that shape us. We make room for honest questions and encourage men to become rooted in Christ, with faith that carries into home, work and community.

Discipleship that continues through the week

Discipleship is learning to follow Jesus together. Discipleship meetings create space to return to the Bible, talk honestly about its challenges and encourage one another to take a next step. The aim is steady growth, not a quick transformation or a checklist to complete.

Fellowship, prayer and accountability help turn Sunday teaching into daily practice. We want men to discover their gifts, grow in character and become people who serve others. Details of meeting times and arrangements will be shared once confirmed; speak to the team if you would like to explore this with us.

Worship, prayer and the Holy Spirit

We worship Jesus and depend on the Holy Spirit, rather than our own strength, for lasting change. We make room to pray, listen and respond to God, asking for wisdom, courage and the grace to live differently.

You are welcome to receive prayer or simply listen. There is no pressure to speak publicly, tell your story or pretend to have everything together. Tea, coffee and time to talk are part of our Sunday fellowship, and someone is available to pray with you afterwards.
